I've been into the Food Network lately. And yes, I am very slow, I've only *just* seen The Naked Chef. I didn't have food network until recently. Food 911's Tyler Florence is pretty damn hot. He makes cooking shows interesting. And just my luck! He's coming to town May 3 for a cooking demo and book signing. I must have missed Rick Bayless on his book tour (if he did one), so I better get on this.

I saw Irreversiblethe other day. Really amazing movie. Very very graphic though, and 2 people walked out of the theater. Monica Belluci and Vincent Cassel are very good in the film. The whole thing is just filled with symbols and metaphors and things to analyze etc etc. So great.

For lack of money, and a job >__< I put my first item for sale on ebay! I wanted to keep them but they don't fit. I want to use the money for a tatoo maybe. bah. Who am i kidding. The money will probably just end up right back on ebay on a plastic deer bookend or something.

It was a drizzly Friday afternoon on Chicago's South side. A girl, her boyfriend, and his roommate were half drunk on their way to see the White Sox on opening day. All were excited. The crowd was ready to dish out $5 bills for their brats and beers and nachos. But there was to be no such light-hearted eating of any kind, as the clouds in the sky fiercely came together and unleashed upon the jolly multitudes a frigging thunderfuckingstorm with freezing rain and harsh ass wind.

If there was ever a proper use of the words "crappy weather" it would be to describe today's weather. We had to leave the game, then found out 2 hours later they decided to play ANYWAY. Hundreds of people who left, lost their money. Go Sox. But all is well now as I am dry, and listening to Belle and Sebastian.

yuck. so my computer, after so many years of good lovin', has given out on me :( I don't have enough money right now for a new one either. Ah well. My luck has been good otherwise. I won a membership to the super sassy Crunch gym! Now I can take weird ass classes like Disco Yoga (I kid you not) and Cycle karaoke :/ AND a few weeks ago I picked up 2 free coupons for a free haircut at Art + Science. Now I just need to figure out what I want. Some tresses a la Chan Marshall might be the thing.
